What are Mille, Piola, and Romeo's hours and days open?

A group of us went to Piola last night. Several thought their pizza was, at best, okay. Piola had two new steaks on their menu and I thought that I would try one. At best it was fair and at worse, it was poor.......overcooked, not tender as stated on the menu and smaller that the stated weight of 400 grams. Overall, not a great experience for us.

Also, the manager and crew that had been there for several years were all gone. I guess someone "cleaned house" for whatever reason. Now the new manager and crew need to get their act together to bring it back to it's former level IMO.

The place in Playacar's Plaza Maya Pakal that used to be Comida Mexicana is now Italian (which can't be very good news for Don Pepperoni next door). Can't remember the name off-hand, but we went there first night in town and enjoyed a couple of very nice Italian style (thin crust) pizzas.

That's disappointing to hear. I've had good experiences at Piola but haven't been there since January. We liked the ambiance of the garden almost as much as the pizza. Out of the remaining top pizza places, do any have a similar feel? Plastic tables are fine before the sun goes down but after that, not so much.

TIA

Piola is unique amongst the Playa pizza restaurants because of its atmosphere. I still have it towards the top of my list.

I like Domino's. Sometimes I really crave American pizza.

I'll check it out next week and report back. Hopefully they have improved since Al's visit.
