The last pizza place at that same location La Rampa didn't last 6 months and this one won't either. Not negative - just realistic. Slow, slow, slow season will be here soon. I have owned a pizza joint but fortunately not in Playa.

la rampa made pretty good pizza, but they were clueless
makkaroni place has new italian owners, now "romeo"

al, we should try a pizza there, i have a good feeling about these guys

Hey, I will bet you a pizza that they are out of business in 6 months. You buy and if they are still open in 6 months............I'll pay you back....
The opened with no signage or anything. Probably disorganized as the previous owners. Pizza when?

No doubt CLUELESS as the new owners. I just walked up there and still no signage at all letting people know that the restaurant is named ROMEO. Maybe they should name it No Name Italian restaurant
CLUELESS with a cold case in the front facing the street with about 25 limons. SS, just a matter of time for these "operators".............just a matter of time.

By the way, what is makkaroni place that you refer to

Did you try the pizza? If not, do you want to go there with Rick and me and try it? I mean that completely seriously. PM me or Rick and let's have pizza together. We can rave or rag about it here afterward. Deal? (Maybe Snap can come, too.)

Great idea Sue. Name the day and time (this week is fine), and with Snaps offering to pay and me bringing bulletproof vests for 4 (just kidding folks) = LET'S DO IT .
And I will do double or nothing with SS. If the place is open in 6 months (as Romeo), I will pay the double the check amount that he paid (minus the tip and shipping and handling).

Maybe this pizza place on 38th should really name themselves 'Clueless'..as now that seems to be sticking for me with all these no name pizza places

They really need salad available . The pizza is very good thin crus
