Kaxapa Factory

Great little restaurant beside Las Pescadillas and El Asador on Constituyentes between 10 and 15... funny little spot BUT THE FOOD, SERVICE AND PRICE MAKES IT WORTH IT! Venezuelan, latino, vegie, a wide variety of totally different dishes! I LOVED IT! Its called Kaxapa Factory... fantastic.. Open 1pm to 10 pm every day but Tuesday...

Yeah - well....

I can't seem to start a thread, Al, so I just posted to any of the threads already started, fairly recent, and prayed that some nice soul with permission to start a thread would take this message and start a thread to help a Venezuelan family who has opened a really nice restaurant here in Playa Del Carmen get started. Geesh right back at ya! .. Have a great day Al!

Kaxapa Restaurant

They don't have a liquor license yet, but they have some really yummy drinks - try a papillon - no its not a butterfly, but a drink with the piloncillo unrefined sugar and lime... surprisingly - DELICIOUS!

Looks like you found the "NEW THREAD" button. This will increase the possibility that people will learn more about this little gem.
Good that you started a new thread because Kaxapa Factory would get lost in the Era Ora thread. Now people will be able to read about it and increase the chances that they will visit it..

I can't think of the locale--is this the spot that was Da Gigi and has the crazy rope lights around their support posts?

Hi Heather, it is the first spot directly to the west of the DaGigi restaurant - (you could almost miss it) in the mall beside DaGigi's. Kind of funny locale.
