Email notifications

I used to get email notifications when people posted to threads that I was subscribed to, or pm's. I haven't gotten those emails for about a month now. I haven't changed anything in my profile and I double-checked to see if it was all the same.

You may have to re subscribe to the post, just add a comment to the particular post and you should start getting emails again.

I didn't get an email about responses to this thread

Also didn't get email when a recent pm came in.

Just confused, I guess. I'll try subscribing again to a couple threads and see what happens.

I am still having the same experience you are and have touched nothing in the control panel. I have also posted several times and still not receiving responses.

sounds like it to me also.

If you send me a PM I can create some test system mails for you.

The emails should originate from no-reply @ playa.info

I have not been getting notifications about private messages. They are not in my spam folder, and this has been going on for some time. I only know I have a PM when I log in here.

Same here. It's been about a month for me also. Not a spam filter issue for me either. I do check my spam filter every few days. Never had a playa.info message of any sort in there.

the mails are going out. I'm getting them.

the problem is that they might be rejected due to a DNS issue that I've asked be corrected (while I'm a geek, I have another geek that helps with this stuff... I'm told it was to be fixed within hours, so it should be done in a day or two)

That must be it. I changed my email address on here to my gmail account and the emails are coming in fine to gmail. I'll try changing it back to my main email account later and see if it starts working.

Nope, still not working for me.

I posted here at

11:00 PM Central time 9/28/11. It was replied to at 8:00 PM central time 9/29/11.

It is now 11:15 PM central, on 9/29/11 and haven't recieved notification of a response to the subscribed thread.

If the notification comes through later, I'll post.

My life is still complete, but thought inquiring minds might like to know.
