WahWah Beach Bar
JJ and Kim Johnston (Nasty Bastards Band) and Gary Adams (Cafe Ole Pto. Aventuras)!!!!

BUT WE NEED A NAME FOR THE BAR!!!

We've decided it would be fun to hold a contest to name the bar. If you would like to participate please submit any ideas you may have.

Please help us by sharing this with all your friends!!

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
1) It is located on the beach
2) Bar/Restaurant
3) Live music venue

WE BELIEVE THE NAME SHOULD BE:
1) Short and simple
2) Have great logo potential
3) Reflect our concept

The winning name will be picked on October 15th 2011 and the winner will receive a 1000.00 peso bar credit!!

We are really looking forward to providing exceptional food, drinks, service and great entertainment to our many friends both here in Playa Del Carmen and abroad!!!

Cool! That's exciting! I've been missing a "Cheers" type of regular hangout bar ever since Keith's closed and Jimmy sold PGs!

What sort of concept? Casual beach bar with bar food, or more upscale/swanky/lounge-y?

Wonder how long it will take for the "expert" to come here and tell you that he has had 875 restaurants and 345 bars and you will close down in a week

The location is between Juarez and 2nd, on the beach. The property is currently known as 'Las Ruinas'.

It is exciting!!

We will be a casual, open air, sand floor beach club/live music venue. We intend to showcase local and international bands. The menu is still being worked out but will include brick oven pizza, burgers, sandwiches, BBQ, pasta dishes and fish. Our goal is to create a very relaxed atmosphere, whether your lounging on the beach chairs during the day or dancing on the bar at night

Does this mean you won't be playing at Bad Boys anymore ?
