My high school has a alumni website and someone just posted - What did you do during the blizzard of 67.

I remeber that in addition to the bus, a beer truck was stuck and the guys in my neighborhood tried to get it opne. No luck. The snow drifts were outrageous and we made a sledding hill out front that we threw hot water on to and it froze-very slick! We had to aim it just right because of the cars parked at the curb or we would have had concussions! I remenber that it was very fast, but fun. We also built a few ice houses. My poor dogs had a terrilbe trying to go potty so we had to dig out a space for them. It was like a little hut. I think we had gotten enough food and out neighbors cooked up a majot Italian feast for all of us. I can't remember but we must have had electricity and the toilets must have flushed.
