The prices are above in the menu.

Rick,
What does the c/q mean next to the tacos on the menu

it would not surprise me if the prices were slightly higher on tenth
if the food is the same quality, it will be worth it

if you have never tried "alambre" give it a whirl
all flavors are great!!!!

Yes, that's what my regular dictionary said too.

My food dictionary resource had a more apppetizing definition:

Alambre - Diced chicken or beef sauteed with bacon, optionally cheese and vegetables like green peppers and onions. Served with tortillas and salsas. Similiar to fajitas.

Thanks for menu, looks good! Few questions, what are the Frijoles Don Charro? Also, what are the differences in the tacos? I noticed there are a few headings above them. Thanks!

Maiz - corn tortilla
Harina - flour tortilla

We had a nice dinner at Don Sirloin tonight.

chicken tacos, my very favorite ones in Playa:

frijoles don charro:

sirloin tacos:

an alambre dish, which is similar to fajitas (this one has cheese):

either alambre or fajitas (this one doesn't have cheese, so it's hard for me to tell from the photo):

Great photos and great food. I had the Frijoles Charros Don Sirloin. Wonderful flavor and served hot. A meal in itself. That and a cerveza or two and you are set for the evening. I also had the alambre which also was delicious. Good pick Sue and Rick.
I'll be back.

Looks great. Does anyone know how early they open?

Everytime I go to HC Monterey or El Fogon across from Mega it's too early and they are closed...which led me to El Jurado. Huaraches! I have nothing to compare these to but I like them enough to return every trip. I've never seen another gabacho there although you can't get a seat by about noon on a Sunday, which I find odd. Something I should know about this place?
