For the record, a quick, simple shot of those off my messy desktop just now:
I think maybe Mac users are just mildly amused by Vista (if they've even heard of it, which I hadn't until recently). It just confirms the Mac user's current world view, really: that the PC world is behind and trying to catch up or copy the cool stuff already there and in use for a while on Macs. And that's fine. We have a very live and let live attitude over here in Maclandia.
Also it's kinda funny to read positive comparisons of the just-barely-released Vista with Tiger (Mac OS 10.4), as Tiger has already been out for a while but moreover, Leopard (10.5), the
improvement on Tiger, is due relatively soon. And you know that if Apple knows how to do something well, it's an attention getting release and presentation that will steal Microsoft's thunder.
