This is a very exciting time for the animals and all of those involved. This new charity will provide the care these animals need and will provide a new future for the homeless and abandoned animals of Playa del Carmen. I am excited to be a part of it and look forward to a bright future with PAR!

Good luck to everyone involved with the new organization. We have been supporters of Andy's efforts from the start, and can fully appreciate all the work involved with taking care of all those pups since witnessing Kat and Gary's efforts firsthand during our adoption of Ixchel a few months ago. It takes a lot of determination and love to help these poor defenseless animals and we applaud all the efforts of every group down there doing so. We will continue to offer our support in any way we can.
When we recently picked up Ixchel from her spay operation the vet told us they were holding a bunch of (recently expired) meds for us to bring down to the shelter in December. And we'll certainly continue our sponsorship of Bernie.

We also are looking forward to working with any organization willing to help the homeless street animals of PDC, working as a cohesive team to help whenever we can and to see for the well being for the animals. We are about to embark on a NEW page of our organization and we understand that this is going to take some time and a tremendous effort on all those associated with PAR ! We LOVE YOU ! and look forward into bringing forth a new beggining for LOVING homes for the animals of PDC !

OMG! Haven't been on here since last night. I can't believe the outpouring of support. It takes a community to do wonderful things within the community. Please be patient as we update everyone on the step by step progress.
We have three potential properties all 600 or more sq mtrs. We are having them checked by our lawyer for restrictions that might not allow permission for a shelter. Our lawyer is Joaquin Martinez. We have real estate agents, Lita Anderson of One Stop and Joaquin Martinez of Bric (the son of our Lawyer) searching for additional properties. Anyone who knows of land or a small home on a large lot that is in a more commercial/industrial area than residential, but within Playa Del Carmen, please pass along the information. We want to find the best possible site. We will be announcing the new BOD and immediate support group in the next few days. Can't tell you how excited we are about the community response. ....and what a great community it is. ![]() ![]()
