Just got word from WHARF all the animals have arrived safely and cleared customs in Edmonton and are on their way to their foster homes now. Will try and keep everyone updated about adoptions as I am sure they will be adopted really fast.

Playa Animal Rescue would like to extend a huge *Thank You* to Laura Raikes, Coco's Cat Rescue, CANDI International and Debbie McBride, for their invaluable assistance with getting our 8 dogs to Edmonton, Canada, and into their foster homes! We couldn't have done it without your help.

Team Joe
Joe is over one year old. He weighs 8.5 kilos/19 pounds. Getting him well is going to a team effort. Please consider joining his team, and watch his journey to good health. Joe has Eurlicia, Heartworm Disease, A very advanced skin yeast infection, worm and parasite infestation, and a Fistula in is mouth (an opening between his nasal and oral cavity. The fleas and ticks have to be hand picked, because of his skin condition. He is extremely malnourished, but because of the fistula, feeding him needs to be supervised closely. Our vets are optimistic, that he can once again, be healthy, but the cost is going to be great. Please donate through Paypal, and in the comment box, type in *Team Joe*

My Belle Belle
Hi PAR People!!!
I had to share this photo of my baby Belle....adopted from PAR. I bought a couple of new beds to replace the torn up (by my Betsy) beds.....but I kept the old beds. Belle managed to stack hers up!! So cool...I watched her at work designing the perfect spot!! I am ever amazed at her joy, her intelligence and how this is right where she always belonged!!! This photo for me was worth the 4.5 year wait for my girl Belle! ![]() Thank you PAR People....may sweet Joe knows the feeling of a "double bed" some day!!! I'm rooting for him! Sorry for all the sappyness!!! I'm really grateful for my girl Belle!! Maureen |
