This is a very exciting time for the animals and all of those involved. This new charity will provide the care these animals need and will provide a new future for the homeless and abandoned animals of Playa del Carmen. I am excited to be a part of it and look forward to a bright future with PAR!

Good luck to everyone involved with the new organization. We have been supporters of Andy's efforts from the start, and can fully appreciate all the work involved with taking care of all those pups since witnessing Kat and Gary's efforts firsthand during our adoption of Ixchel a few months ago. It takes a lot of determination and love to help these poor defenseless animals and we applaud all the efforts of every group down there doing so. We will continue to offer our support in any way we can.

When we recently picked up Ixchel from her spay operation the vet told us they were holding a bunch of (recently expired) meds for us to bring down to the shelter in December. And we'll certainly continue our sponsorship of Bernie.

Thank You caramba and to ALL of you for your continued support for the Playa Animal Rescue ( PAR ) . Our goal for the future is to bring ALL the dogs together once again .... and in Playa Del Carmen ! With the tremendous support of one couple, we are very close in securing land for this to happen ! NOW is the time for EVERYONE to come together and make our goal possible. With your sponsorships, donations and adoptions we are looking at a very bright future for us as well as the care for the street dogs of PDC !

We also are looking forward to working with any organization willing to help the homeless street animals of PDC, working as a cohesive team to help whenever we can and to see for the well being for the animals. We are about to embark on a NEW page of our organization and we understand that this is going to take some time and a tremendous effort on all those associated with PAR !

We LOVE YOU ! and look forward into bringing forth a new beggining for LOVING homes for the animals of PDC !

Thank you very much Laura. Everyone has the same goal, and that's saving and helping the unfortunate animals in the area. With everyone's support, and everyone working together, we can save so many more.

Deb & I adopted 2 babies from the PPS, Taco ( 2 yrs ago ) and Burrita ( last June ) and we've never been more proud and more in LOVE with than I can say !

Time marches forward .... and with Andy getting married to his sweetheart Penny ( from Canada ) he has decided to "retire" from the PPS and move forward with his NEW family in Canada. We "respect" his wishes and wish him continued success in the coming years of his life with his new family !

Andy mate, we LOVE YOU, and will miss you and your forever charm and willingness to treat us all to a very "special time" while we were in Playa ! Mate, i mean this from the bottom of my heart, YOU have been very special to Deb & I and a TON of other peeps ..... we wish you the BEST in your future and may GOD BLESS YOU MATE !
best wishes to Andy(and his family) for his future...he is one of my hero's in the animal rescue world. He never said no to a hurt animal on the street...that is a mighty big heart.

Best of luck to all of you in the new organization. I am sure you will do well with all the continued support and love from the peeps all over the this big old cyber world who love this organization and what it does for the animals in Playa.

OMG! Haven't been on here since last night. I can't believe the outpouring of support. It takes a community to do wonderful things within the community. Please be patient as we update everyone on the step by step progress.
We have three potential properties all 600 or more sq mtrs. We are having them checked by our lawyer for restrictions that might not allow permission for a shelter.
Our lawyer is Joaquin Martinez. We have real estate agents, Lita Anderson of One Stop and Joaquin Martinez of Bric (the son of our Lawyer) searching for additional properties. Anyone who knows of land or a small home on a large lot that is in a more commercial/industrial area than residential, but within Playa Del Carmen, please pass along the information. We want to find the best possible site.
We will be announcing the new BOD and immediate support group in the next few days. Can't tell you how excited we are about the community response. ....and what a great community it is.
