The first time I visited the PPS, it was a few dogs in Andy's front yard... thank you Andy for the difference you made for dogs in Playa. I wish you the best in your new life in Canada. I would like to thank Jen, too.

As for Playa Animal Rescue, my monthly donation stands and thank you for continuing to care for dogs in Playa.

I am sitting here with tears flowing down my face. I don't know what to say. I am in shock . I have received two donations since you have posted this and I about pooped my pants! ( which would of been a good thing since Ive not went for over a month due to the disease TMI I know lol)

I can not wait to tell my husband. He has been so overly stressed. He has been back on FMLA the last almost 3 weeks as I've gotten sicker. This past week my lymph Nodes under arms ( both sides) have swollen so big that I can barley use my arms due to the swelling and pain. It seems the Langerhans cell histiocytosis ( Histiocytosis X for short) has gotten worse in the last month and is causing me so many more issues then it was . I was to start Chemo Friday and it's been put off until Monday or Wend . Since they want me to do the 168 hours at home on a pump and only had a few days worth on hand AND I have a infection in my lungs and my mouth they did not want me to have to risk getting sicker by coming into the Office. So if they received the Chemo Saturday (yesterday) I will start Monday other wise I'll start Wend as mail does not run Monday and Tuesday my oncolgist is not available. I have been on a very strong med to help with the infections.

this will GREATLY help us in ways I can not explain. We not only have the monthly medication ( just one of my pain pills with insurance is almost $75 and I am on 3 pain meds plus 4 other meds) . We have the home care nurse we have to pay and the PT ( will be done at home) and the Mayo Trip and so many Dr. appointments and more test then I can count it just adds up so fast . There is a point where there is just no more funds left and no help available. My husband says after I am in remission we will be forced to file chapter 7.

I don't know why I am sharing all this except I am so very greatful more then words can express. My husbands work says they will also do a fundraiser to help with the Mayo Trip but this is going to help in ways I just cant cant cant explain. We live on a budget ( but could breath before)and there is just no where else we can take from to help with the cost of being sick. Even when my husband had to take out a loan of his 401k for $1000 it was gone in the blink of our eyes.

We don't go out to eat except on the children's birthday ( then we only take the birthday child and me and their dad so to make it special to them . Bonding time) we don't go out and spend money on other things so we really have been struggling trying to find out what we could cut out. We could cut out cell phone but then we would be without a phone and I need to have one with me at all times expecially now incase of a emergency.

I have to share one of my wishes. This is going to sound so silly. But since I got sick in June I've not been able to eat a full meal. Most days I can get between 1 to 4 bites down one time a day and that's IT. I didnt eat anything at all Wend, Thursday and Friday I had half a biscuit with some white Gravy then today just a couple bites of Mashed potatoes. I can NOT WAIT until I'm able to eat again. I never thought I'd miss eatting LOL Its the simple things we take forgranted. but I cant WAIT until I am in remission and can eat again. No idea what the first thing I want to eat is but I look forward to it and I was not a big eatter before! It's been great for my weight loss though HA!( bad way I know)

My husband is a big guy over 6 foot tall and as you know a Officer of the Law and it takes a lot to get him upset. I walked in on him not to long ago when he was speaking to his boss ( who is also a friend of his) and it broke my heart what I heard . I just can not wait to tell him and see some of the stress go away. The stress just has taken over the whole family we are going to look into family counseling once a week or every two weeks ( if we can find someone that takes our insurance and home visits).

When all of this is over I want to start a Charity for Adults that have aged out of Foster Care ( or does not have family) .Where if something like this happens they will have a place to go even if its just for the emoctional support. Hopefully we will be able to do fundraisers to help them financially also in their time of emergency. I know that it kills me at every new Dr appointment when I am asked if my parents can help and I have to tell them I don't have any and aged out of the system.

We are still waiting on a return call to see if Angel Flights can help fly us to my Mayo appointment this month. They are not sure that they fly out of my city into the city were going. I know they said if they do were have to transfer to another service half way as it is so far ( over 800 miles) . I never thought in a million years we would be facing this. I just can not even start to say thank you enough. I just want the CHANCE at remission a chance. Thank you so very much tears thank you thank you thank you

He ( our oldest son) Is yours biologically and the youngest girl is yours biologically. Nope Nope. I told him I wouldn't tell him which was as they are all equal in our hearts Funny enough our oldest son is mixed mexican and white and my husband and I are both as white as can be LOL Plus he is half my age litterly!
