Why would they be liable? Because they put up some goofy ads? Because the police overreacted weeks after the fact?
If all the commotion was the day they set the stupid things out thats one thing, but to try and recoop on expenses incurred because someone over reacted. I don't buy it.
Certainly the ads were in poor taste. I'm not defending that.
