At the lake on the most beautiful Fall weekend. The trees are changing and the sun shining. Been for a walk and a golf cart ride. Hitting the winery tomorrow. I wish it could be autumn forever.

No big plans for this weekend. It's been rainy, so our garden cleanup we had planned is postponed. We'll probably clean the house, watch college football, cook something tasty, and drink some likker.

We are well. It is an time of sadness, memories, and the type of stuff that goes on a parent dies.

At the Phoenix airport now, will board a flight to Kansas City soon. This is not a bad route - two legs of about 2 and a half hours each

Weekend plans started yesterday. SIL came in from Texas for her 50th reunion. So family getogether at a local watering hole, an Irish bar. Then lunch today, just some of the gals at our favorite pizza place. Family stuff over I think. Love family but can do away with the drama and competition. So tonight a quiet night at home, tomorrow my usual 2 hours at the Y and home to winterize the herb bed and help hubby clean the chimmey.

Geesh, love fall, hate that winter is coming.

Fall Festival tomorrow at a school for the deaf, so im gonna load up on Honeycrisp apples, pumpkin fudge, candy apples, and other junk i can stuff down my mouth

Rented and loaded a U-Haul trailer with bocce courts for a bocce tournament in San Diego Sunday. Softball tournament in Santa Maria tomorrow. Out of the house by 5AM, should be home around 10PM tomorrow. Hopefully stop and see Syl and John Saturday afternoon on the way home from the softball tourney.

Did this last year, left for San Diego at 4AM on Sunday, got home at 10PM from San Diego. This year is different; friend is picking up the loaded U-Haul tomorrow and taking to San Diego then bringing home to his house in Rancho Cucamonga. I'll go to RC Sunday evening and get the trailer. Sunday will kind of be a day off for Bonny and me.
