Let me clear some things up. Bad Boys is still open and The Nasty Bastards are still playing every Thursday and Saturday from 5 to 9. Business as usual! Our new bar.....Wah Wah is under construction and is moving slowly as all things do in Mexico. All this bad weather we are experiencing is not helping. Originally we were planning on opening in early December. At this stage, we will be lucky to open in early January. The city is not making things easy for us either. The Bastards will continue to play at Bad Boys until the new bar opens. I'll do my best to keep everyone advised as changes occur. JJ

We have another stop to add to the crawl, Jimiontheriver suggested "Moms Hotel Bar" (which is on 4th) so we should find a way to fit this or actually maybe make it the first stop, being the furthest from the beach???

Anne have you made any other plans with Harris as yet?

It's not etched in stone yet, but we are shooting for a 2 p.m. wedding ceremony (or thereabouts) on the beach, and are thinking of the little beach just south of Xaman Ha condos in Playacar Phase 1 (across the street from the ruins).
That should allow time for the ceremony and photos, and time for everyone to join up with the crawl, which, being on calle 4, is pretty close by!

Which leads me to a question- I don't know if anyone reading this might have an answer, but, as long as we are on the subject, I am wondering whether anyone would give us a hassle for showing up on the beach there to have a wedding ceremony?

In a related question, we hope to possibly have a few photos taken afterward with the ruins as a backdrop. Is there any problem doing this? We have walked closely by these ruins many times in the past on our way into town....

And, oh, John, I forgot about Mom's Bar being on 4th too.... there's a lot going on on that street!

you could spend a week in playa and never leave fourth street
manne's, russells hotel and restaurant, yan and ten, bad boys, mom's bar and many more great places
