Thanks so much, we'd love to meet some nice peeps like you! It's really funny when you're sitting there in Playa and you actually recognize someone from the forum or start talking to someone & find out they're on here!

Doggie update! Sweet girl has gained over 6lbs. !!! (she told me in kilos but of course I forget) She is behaving wonderfully and is a very smart, loving girl with lots of kisses to give. Her mom says she "is learning everything I want her to learn" and is thrilled to have her own dog bed and toys to play with!
And are you ready for this??? She protected her new sister from a mean dog that wasn't on a leash and came charging at them!!! How cool is that???!! She's almost done with her heartworm and erlichia meds too! YAY!

BUT, I am now very hesitant to put a picture with her face on it & took out her face intentionally on recent picture and here's why: Her mom brought up a great point which got us both a little worried...probably for nothing, but still - we truly believe this dog used to have an owner of some sort...but as long as she had to have been on the streets we think someone PUT her out on the streets, as in, kicked her out. I think that may be one of the reasons she was having such a hard time surviving. I don't think she was just lost, as she had been seen around by a few people and could have been found. I don't want anything to jeopardize her new life, understandably. I will try to post one of her body when I get it though, for sure! |
