Team KoolferKats needs sponsors for Coco's Cat Rescue Scavenger Hunt Nov. 23

Russell Granger (of Carboncitos fame) and I have decided to throw our (Santa) hats into the ring and take on all comers in support of the 3rd Annual Coco’s Cat Rescue Scavenger Hunt Fundraiser.

This fundraiser is one of the most important Coco’s will have all year. If you’re not familiar with what Coco’s Cat Rescue does, check out their website here. Their work spaying/neutering the animals of Playa del Carmen and their innovative Cat Cafe programs at area hotels are invaluable and are changing the lives of thousands of defenseless animals.

Prizes will be awarded to the winners of the Scavenger Hunt as well as to the team that raises the most money. Russell and I (Team KoolferKats) have set our sights on being the team that raises the most money—our goal is at least 8,500 pesos (about 710 usd), but to do that, we need your help.

If you’d like to sponsor the smartest, best looking, strongest, most aerodynamically-sound team, then by all means, support some other team. BUT, if you’d like to sponsor US, then please send your sponsorship donation to us via PayPal, using this email address:

No amount is too big or too small—even seemingly small donations of 5 or 10 usd will add up quickly. All proceeds will be forwarded directly to Coco’s Cat Rescue and our loyalty and gratitude will be yours forever.

To sweeten the deal, if we are the team who raises the most money, any prizes we win will be raffled off at random to one of our generous donors. That’s right, we’re bribing you with the promise of gifts and international fame.

Generous Arnie has already kicked off our efforts and has been our first sponsor (of course! Arnie is always among the first to lend a hand!)!

Incredibly, he's offered to donate Coco's portion of the Trina Matching funds to our team if we can help raise the remaining 900 usd for Trina by November 15!! So if you'd like to double your charitable donations, donate to Trina!

Carboncitos has donated a 500 Peso gift certificate for the "after scavenger hunt" raffle." I believe raffle tickets may be purchased online and are 50 pesos per ticket. When I have more information I'll share it.
