Maktub Cafe?

My last time in Playa, in the winter of 2009 we had a nice long dinner at Maktub Cafe on 5th and calles 28 and 30. This nice lebanese restaurant has been removed from the Dpreefer's restaurant list and I was wondering if it's been closed or the quality has dropped or what?

My Bad!

So sorry. I heard it was closed and I removed it from my list. This is a fine place and should be in the list. I just returned from PLaya and must have passed it by half a dozen times, but simply did not notice it or connect the dots. I will repair the error.

No worries I got the information I needed. Thanks Michele and Big Fish! We will definitely try it again.

Digging up an old thread, but I was there yesterday for dinner. They now have a buffet style option on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for 180 pesos. Coffee/Tea and dessert included. Other drinks are separate.

It's a nice option if you want to try some different dishes. It's more or less like there "Plato Arabe" (can't recall the exact name), but you can pick anything you want from the buffet.

I usually go there like once a month, just to get some variation to the "normal" Playa food.
