Went here last week...loved it! The Chiapas (if memory serves correctly) were my fave.

It was there last week. Maybe you missed it as it is set back a little from Constituyentes and somewhat small.

Angel I'm thinking VermiciousKnid's TR has us going there too! I wanted to hit it last time but we never saw it. Hopefully we can find it this time. It sounds like a must.

Kaxapa Factory, to the best of my knowledge, has been closed.

EDIT: My knowledge was wrong. Walked by 1/2 hour ago and Kaxapa Factory was open and very busy. I must have been delirious from the drive back from the Belize border in the pouring down rain for almost 4 hours

On another note, right down the street from Kaxapa Factory is the new Donuts & Co. store (corner of Constituyentes and calle 15).

Will walk over there again and check but pretty sure that it is gone.
They were open two weeks ago and have multiple August reviews on TA, so hopefully that isn't true.

We enjoyed Kaxapa on our last trip. A great treat afterwards, on a stroll back toward 5th, is the little ice cream shop on the way. Loads of really interesting flavors and combos. Very friendly staff. Several sizes. If I could recall the name of the place, I'd post it

(I hope I haven't already posted that . . .oh well, the concept "too much" does not apply to ice cream)
