Dave, where's your lot?
On another note got a few more pictures from my sister and her son Josh, The first is the sink that we put in- it's the traditional clothes washing sink of concrete that's common in Mexican homes. I liked it's simplicity. We added concrete counters on the sides after the photo.

The next is just a photo inside downstairs taken from the side the sink is on looking towad our 3 burner cooking strip, After the photo was taken we mounted the little stove on cinder blocks and built the first cabinet and counter top on the right hand side of it.

In the one below of me working on the sink drain you can see the nice door Reuben made for the bodega (storage room).

I came down with Dengue the last week we were there and was in bed sick as a dog so we don't have final pictures when some of the countertops started to go in downstairs or after Rosalene worked making stone raised beds around the house for flowerbeds and also made a concrete walk connecting downstairs door to the outdoor shower.
When we return I think there will be very little needed to make it quite livable. First get the water hooked up, should only take a day. Second, get screens in. Getting Dengue made me very aware of the need for screens. Third, I'd like to add another 100 to 150 watts of solar power so we could have electric lights and fans. Finally we plan to make a composting toilet out building of stone with a grass roof. That should do it.
