Ranger and Cheryl, Friends, Food and Fun in Playa 2011
We'll get this trip report going soon, the inspiration this year is how many friends we had going into Playa this year and how many more we made.
This was a great trip for us with new experiences (for us) and seeing fun and interesting places. I have a whole lot of pictures and plan to share most here, so we'll back here soon.............................................. ................................................. |

Yay.... I'm glad you are jumping right in with your report, John. I haven't had a bit of time since we got home to get mine started  (although I did post several pics in the general forum about the wedding when someone inquired about a wedding officiant in Tulum- I knew just the person!)...This will surely inspire me.   Miss you guys! |

This may have been our best trip to Playa, though every one has been special.
We’ve been flying Jet Blue out of Boston our last 3 trips, always the same flight number and departing time, 7:00 AM………………………………………………………………   Up at 3:30 and head to the airport @ 4:00  with my daughters boyfriend driving.    Security was a breeze and flight left right on time……………………………….   Cancun airport was a little crowded but no problems, I had lined up a private transfer lined up thru our hotel going to not waste anytime getting to town.  I happened to read the drivers clipboard with his schedule and as it turned out it was the same company that Heather uses, after a stop @ 7-11 for cerveza’s we were at the Hotel Villa del Mar in no time, and home…………   Off to Carboncitos and “margarita’s” por favour!!!!!   !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

This was our 4th trip to Q-Roo and 3rd stay in town Playa del Carmen on Avenue 10 which is under major construction and will take a few months.
We come from the Boston area where they just put an entire expressway UNDERGROUND, this was and still is major construction and has taken years. This is what 10th looked like a year ago……………….  This was over the past 2 weeks we were there…………     We don’t drive in Mexico and we had a fantastic trip, com’n see……….. |

K, this is great, but I really think I am far too keen. I will leave for a couple of days and then come back so I don't feel like a stalker!!
