So looks like Conda is the person that I dislike this season. Its been a while since they had someone I didn't like on the show. I remember the girl in the purple team... her name could have been Vicky... OMG she was terrible... then the husband/wife red team ... could not stand the wife, don't remember their names... but she was a B*(&_.

I hope the aqua team make the 50 pound mark and come back on the ranch.

Gail I think did better at home than at the ranch, good for her!

yes Gail did well at home, don't think she was able to deal well with Bob and being told what to do. I want the aqua team to make it to the show, at least they really seem to want to be there, unlike some of the other contestants. Yes that Conda is a real piece of work. I think if you aren't prepared to give it your all, you shouldn't be there. I thought she was very annoying and disrespectful to Dolvett and I was hoping that the Red team would lose and they would send her packing. I also disliked Vicki and the red wife, talk about b#%ches and now I can add 'condo to that list.

First of all, Bob, stop with the eye rolling!

I hate the editing that's going on with the trainers feuding!

I have not picked out a favorite yet either, maybe Santa.....

I kinda feel for Conda, I think a lot of her attitude is a defense mechanisim against the world that only sees her as the fat girl. I hope Dolvett can break through that.

Yes, I too dislike the editing going on with the trainers. They are both there to help the contestants. The contestants are in the game... not the trainers, they get paid no matter who wins or loses.

I'm not sure if it is a defense mechanism or not. Remember how in the first elimination she totally went off on the one contestant they sent home for being too laid back in his workouts. Some of the stuff she said about him was kinda mean, so that is why I don't think its a defense mechanism. I'm glad her brother is nothing like her.

I agree, I think she has some real issues with being nasty. I think until she gets over her bad attitude, she wont' be successful. She may here, on the ranch, but I suspect she'd return to her old ways when home. She has control issues at the very least, and overeaters usually have some issues surrounding control.

Totally agree with your comments. I think that Conda has always had issues with being nasty, perhaps her way of making herself feel good by making someone else feel bad, but still very unacceptable. Maybe her bro got all the nice genes I sure hope we start to see some large personalities start to come out. the show really is a bit boring this season

Just remember , this is an edited show so who knows what goes on that we don't see that may cause certain behaviours.

I also know that the lack of repect for others is very common in girls this age, I have heard and seen that from girls in my 3 daughters age groups, hopefully they know better

Lack of respect may be very common in that age group, but it is totally unacceptable behaviour in the real world. An employer would not tolerate this and neither would most people. You are right that the show is edited to show what they want us to see and perhaps they are editing to put a different slant on things, wish they wouldn't

I know some young people now a days have a different way of looking at things and some do have a lack of respect for others. We have a 19 y.o. like that.
I understand that the show is edited, but even so, some of the stuff that they have recorded her saying is not good imho.

I agree, it is unacceptable and perhaps if it is an epidemic with today's young women we should all recognize that and do something about it.

Is it very common with that age group in other areas of the world? I wonder. Whatever the cause, it makes me want to slap her. She's no hormone-enraged teenager; she's a mother and a young woman.

Gosh... I could say so many things about that right now... but since I don't know Conda personally, I will just not say it. Hopefully she will see the light and come to her senses.

I was disappointed in the red team's reaction last night to the aqua team. It's not just about "the game", it's about being healthy and saving their own lives. The aqua team showed they want to do just that...the red team should have been supportive and welcoming them with congratulations. I would have.

THere very well may be more going on behind the scenes that is edited out, though, since the whole red team seemed to be a bit pissed at aqua guy (can't remember his name?)

Yes I felt the same. Of course leading the back stabbing was Conda joined in by Kim. I think they feel threatened by Antoine and his confidence and thought he was BS'ing about working out 14 hours /day. He may have exaggerated a bit his workout time but who are they to say he didn't work out like he said. Not impressed at him being told to listen and more or less keep his mouth shut until he got to know the peeps. Not a great way to make a good team mate. Not too many Reds lost enormous amounts of weight either last night so why they would think that Aqua would drop a ton is beyond me. I also was not impressed with Mark, one of the peeps that I was starting to like, trying to say that Antoine had been playing "the game", I do think both Antoine and Daphne didn't lose big as they were now eating different foods, in a different setting plus they have lost their "water" weight after dieting for 4 weeks. I think they were under a tremendous amount of stress caused by the players and that can cause the body to hang on to weight. You are probably right there is more going on behind the scenes than what we see, but I do think we are seeing some peoples true colours, I could have smacked Conda's smirk from her face when Dovett was trying to clear the air. I also wasn't impressed with the two young men on the black team when Chris tried to become friendly with them and explained that she has a hard time opening up to people, they sure have a lot to learn in life lol.

I totally agree with you. And Kim really bugs me too...she's pretty catty also. She needs to soften up a bit.

Remember a few posts ago when I was almost defending Conda?

Well, no more, her behaviour is inexcusable, she is making the show unpleasant to watch.

And what was up with voting Nancy off! She had a great weight loss and they kept the mouthy duo, geesh!
