Nice. I should be packing coolers by then. We plan on heading out early in the morning. Maybe we'll bump into y'all in Newport before we head south toward the house. I've got a craving for some halibut and fries at the Rogue brewery restaurant on the embarcadero for lunch. Or some Yaquina Bay oysters. Or both.

We're going to play the departure time by ear. That means I try to keep from rushing people. Kathy will probably help me try.

Colleen is already asking me what time we are leaving. She's a pusher. Once she's ready, EVERYBODY needs to be ready.

What do you need to do? Oh that shouldn't take you long. Are you wanting to sleep in? I don't want you to. We should stop for breakfast."

Wine, food and I think I am going to get margy stuff out

Brined the turkey.

Smoked the turkey.

Baked the turkey.

Just pulled it out of the oven.

The damned thing fell apart like a stewed chicken.

I now have a big pile of smoked turkey "scraps"

Oh well. It ain't pretty, but it'll be be great with cheese and crackers.

Oh ya. Had a great time, and a much needed getaway. Thanks to Dana and Ron for all the organizing. Got some major blackmail pic's ( nekkid butt). Sure was good catching up with some very cool peeps!!!!!
