Thanks, amigo. All that was missing was an evening drinking some Dos Equis at the Luna Blue with you!

JG, can you tell me how you did this picture? Was it a special lens? I love it and want to learn how to do that! I'm in the market for a new camera. I tried your link, but the product was no longer available.
Thanks, great report and pictures@!!

Glad you liked it!

I bought a Canon Rebel T2i camera last year and then upgraded from the normal 18-55mm lens to 18-135mm lens, which gives a lot more zoom. I paid somewhere around $800 give or take $100 either way, I can't for sure remember. There is a nighttime setting on it and TG just put that setting on and held the camera really still.

Canon probably doesn't sell that model anymore, so you'd either get the Rebel T3i or T4i now.

GREAT purchase and very fun to have a nice camera...definitely go with something that has a nice zoom option!

We did. The trip was fun for the first 3 nights, and then it turned crappy. Pun intended. After tax season I may do a very brief report.
