I think the coffee makers in the rooms are a relatively new (and most welcome) thing, as we never had one during our first or second stay...but 3rd time a charm!
The ability to download films to watch in your room is a fairly new concept there too, as is the internet. Although I never used this service (not even sure how much it was to download a film) I'm sure this would be useful to anybody incapacitated for whatever reason, or those with children.
