Awkward moment:

Roni, Kathy, Bonny and I had arrived at the "House". About 30 minutes later Julie and Jeff made it. Everyone was getting reaquainted from years past. Jeff was about 4 feet from me and just staring at me with a blank quizical face. Finally he says "Dana?". Me, "Ummm no, Mike". Big hugs, "I didn't recognize you without your pony tail".

We need to see each other more often, last time was PNWPM 2006.

I'm glad you like it. That was a good batch. I really enjoyed sharing it with good friends.

(Too sappy? Maybe, but it was good beer, if I don't say so myself.)

Great pictures, the beach looks great. A question for the Oregonians:

I saw a show recently where they talked about the most beautiful beaches in the world and one of them was in Oregon. It might have been a national park. It had a very rugged coastline with soaring cliffs and rock outcroppings. I would immediately put it on my bucket list if I knew the name. It was absolutely spectacular. Anyone know the name of that area? Thanks.

Oh that's a tough one. Without some sort of aiming point, the Oregon coast is all spectacular.

It sounds like the Yachats area. A bit south of these picks. Or Seaside to the north. It's all very majestic.

I will try and find some pics from south to north to post. Maybe something will look familiar.

I think I found the place. Based on the google images search it looks like it was Cannon Beach or Ecola State Park. I don't know if Cannon Beach is part of Ecola or just nearby. What a beautiful looking place.
