Booked Playa Maya!

Booked Playa Maya for 7 nights from May 14-21.

We've stayed at AI's in the past (El dorado Royale and El dorado Seaside suites), but this is our first time staying in PDC. We've been to playa for shopping but didn't spend much time overall...

We are excited to come down!

Now to find out which restaurants are not to be missed...

Thanks for all of the input to help us get to this point.

I tried to request one of the 3rd floor deluxe balcony rooms but since our stay is only 7 nights they couldn't guarantee specific room numbers. Also, a repeat customer and someone who booked several months back already have deluxe balcony rooms, likely on the 3rd floor.

Sounds like we will be in one of the second story deluxe balcony rooms, which is OK with us. Definitely would prefer 3rd story but hey, what can you do.

You may surprised once you get there and get a 3rd floor room. But a 2nd floor
deluxe balcony is pretty much as good. Just not as many stairs to climb! You will be happy with the 2nd floor! Love the Playa Maya!

We'll be there for 14 nights starting Feb. 8th! This will be our third year staying at Playa Maya and we love it.

Well now I know who terzaghi is! And now you can see what I was referring to, about the advance bookings and lengthy stays and returning guests and room preferences issue, too.

Actually I was wondering if you got together on things this year, YWGDon&Deb and Rheta, your stays dovetail so well. Thanks -- makes my life easier!

In fact it was good timing on your part to get booked when you did, terzaghi, as we just booked the last room of that type during that same period and are now sold out of it for at least a couple of those nights.

And please say a big hello to my wife for me tomorrow, comstockfire.

Excited doesn't begin to describe it, Rheta! I've been watching that countdown timer since we completed the reservations with Steve and it started out somewhere around 355 days and counting.

Tomorrow, it's finally into single digits!!!

terzaghi you will love the second floor. We've stayed there 6 times and loved it. Enjoy!
