Riu Tequila - March 26th to April 2nd -Spring Breakers?
Looking at a fairly last minute trip, dates listed above. Kids are fine, we will be bringing two of our own, ages 18 and 12. Crazy spring breakers are not.
![]() Any experiences overall with the Riu resorts and how bad/good things are? Looked through last year's tripadvisor reviews and hardly a mention of spring break activity. Hopefully a good sign! I have stayed at the Tequila before and it was fine for our needs, and the price is right. Any other resorts in the same price range we should consider? |

More so 45 minutes north. And spring breakers can't afford an A.I. |

No but their parents can! Spring breakers in this area are typically high school kid with parents, friend's families - not college kids on their own. You're there during peak break time and leading into Easter so it will be VERY busy but...I don't think you'll have much of an issue with a spring break mentality at this hotel.

We were there for spring break with our son - who happened to be 7 years old at the time...no spring breakers, no wild teens, just the usual suspects. All way over 18!
I think you are perfectly safe booking Tequila for spring break. Have fun! |
