Sweet! Just talked with Crosby Hop farm. They still have some in the cooler for sale but he didn't know how well they would do being planted in August. He DID say that with a day's advance notice, he would give you a tour of the farm. They are located in Woodburn, Oregon south of Portland and right on I-5. You will be heading right through there on the way to the airport. You could take a private tour and possibly get some growers tips and rhizomes (pronounced rise-ohms) to take home. Nice guy, I spoke with.

I would like to do this tour if possible, and get a cutting or any type of growable plant piece.

That is how my entire garden came to be, bit here-bit there!!


Then we would head into Portland and explore there with plenty of time, this work's very well.

I still know people that say that. I say "you are missing out."

Beer kettle is on and heating up. One side of the yard is a beer boil, the other side a smoker full of ribs. I'm just walking back and forth tending to them and enjoying life.
