How about that one tipi place?

Mostly I want to hang out with friends, though.
Me too. The tipi place is up river. 20 minutes east of Eugene. The wineries are west of Eugene. It would a 45 minute drive to the closest winery at best. I am fine with that, as heading up river opens up a few other BIG houses to look at too.

I'm focusing on keeping closest to the wineries as possible. But then again, we are talking about Eugene. We could be way up river and still do winery tours in the valley easy. Being up river would sure be nice too.

I do not mind a drive to the wineries in order to have a wonderful place to stay.

We'll spend more time where we are staying than we will spend at the wineries, or beer halls, I think.

Great. I will find and post a few Ive come across. Searchable areas would be Pleasant Hill, OR., Walterville, Vida, Oakridge, Mckenzie River, Hwy 126, or up the Willamette Hwy 58.

I remember seeing a big ranch house with an indoor pool in Pleasant Hill. I'll try and find it again.

Not everyone may agree with me, but that is the way I see it.

Got out to a few wineries, come home and cook good food, drink good wine and beer and enjoy each other's company. An extra hour driving time for the winery tours is well worth an extra nice lodging environment, in my opinion

This place is a few houses down from the Fairmont house and is owned by the same people. If we need overflow. I think we have a winner. Look them over.

For some reason when I click on the links after I've posted them, it starts at the listing then defaults to the generic page. If you look at the VRBO# and post it in the VRBO# search, it will bring you back to that page. I'm probably doing something wrong but it will at least get you to the views.

Ok, Michael and I have just booked our flights. Woo Hoo!!!

Nicole is waiting on a certificate before booking.

She is also trying to see if a friend of hers can join us.

The consensus from my group is that we will most likey get a small house. Michael and I arrive on Thursday around 11:30. Nicole is not sure when she arrives yet. She needs to check the flight times. If Jennifer joins us, I will have to see what time she arrives also. Since Nicole might fly out of Burbank since it is closer to her house, and Jennifer out of LAX since it is closer to her house... but who knows with them...lol

What time are we starting this on Friday?

Uno - That Mansion is awesome!! -- but it is not available for our dates.

We have some houses in mind, most are 2 bedrooms. I'm going to start sending out e-mails to them... hopefully they are close enough to the house you all end up picking!!!

ok, for some reason this is not letting me edit my last post. Sorry guys for making so many posts.

Uno - the links work on my end.

Little pink house is so cute.... but not available for our weekend.

The houses that we have in mind are (sorry I don't know how to attach the links):

1. The Lovely Home on Fillmore Hill --- #349262

2. Affordable & Comfortable Elegance ---#356627

3. Town & Gown Guesthouse --- #306409

4. Comfortable Remodeled Cottage ---#341876

5. Location, Location Location ---#368228

I hope these are close to the house you guys are going to get!!!

Uno, If you have any suggestions on any of these, I would greatly appreciate it, since I don't know the area.

I will look at these and let you know locations and such.

I think we will all fit in the big house though and won't need a second. Unless you prefer your own place. Roni DOES snore. I will check em out either way though.

Yes, Jennifer and Nicole prefer our own place. Besides, I think Michael might beat out Roni in the snoring department, wouldn't want to torment everyone with that.
