I just wanted to pop in and wish you all safe travels and a wonderful time together. Flight prices have been very high for the last several months, but I was holding out hope that Delta's deals of the week would include a cheap flight to Portland, and we would prehaps take advantage of that and crash your party.

But, I just got Delta's weekly email and no such luck. I could go to Grand Forks, North Dakota for only $80 one way, though.

Ya'll have fun...TG and I miss you guys!

Yep, wish you could make it. Colleen LOVES TG, and well... yer okay too. We will ALWAYS have Solvang.

Maybe it's time we think about heading east some day.

Arrived in Portland lastnight around 8:00 PM Pacific, picked up rental car, found hotel, out for Mexican and slept like a rock!!

Gotta finish coffee and get the already smoked ham on the smoker to give it some more apple wood smoke flavor.

Woo hoo!!! Its almost time! I've started packing this morning before heading off to work, just got a few more things to do and I'm ready to go. I think I'm going to be to excited to sleep tonight.

We have an early flight tomorrow. Leaving LAX at 6:00 a.m.
