Anybody that shows up at my door is welcome. I'll let y'all fight over who gets the spare room or cots or inflatable mattress or couch or dog bed. But you won't go hungry.

I love the idea of a big house for the weekend. I will likely take that week off to act as a guide service for those wanting to exploregon. Oh what fun!

Oh no....that is the long weekend here, which usually means I'm stuck at a big truck show here.

There is a chance they may change the date this year, a slim chance. I'm waiting to hear back from them.

Money will be tight after the PDC trip, it's doubtful....but we'll look into it.

Will check with Nicole and Michael.
I also have to check when my daughter Vicky has to be in SF, she will be starting school in August, but don't know any specifics yet.

Ok, Nicole and I are going to look into flights.

I know that we can fly into Eugene, but might cost more. If we fly into Portland, how far away is that. (I'm sure that's been asked before, but no time to look through the other thread, sorry).

I will also look at VRBO for places to stay. Are there any hotels that anyone can suggest in the area of where we will be having the wine tours/activities?

We will look into it. Portland is about 100 miles north. We will pick you up. Hotels are patchy but the intent would be to get a big house nearby with overflow here at our house. (or 2 houses nearby each other might be in order.) Towns to look at: Eugene, Veneta, Loraine, Fernridge Lake area. It's not like SoCal. 20 miles away is nothing. We will make it work if you guys come!!!

Depending on when folks arrive, etc...

We can stage there here and rent a van for the drive down to Eugene

I have no idea of availability on our dates, but this place is pretty cool. It's "HALF" camping. We've stayed here a few times with big groups.

Private campground, A few bunk houses with heat and bunkbeds, men's / women's bathrooms with hot showers, HUGE commercial kitchen/common area building, big charcoal grill pit, acreage to roam, fishing pond, (some big bass!) baseball diamond, fire pit, horseshoe pits, in the heart of wine country, (very close to OCF property) Tent areas (I have several tents and gear.) RV pads (The Dubs)

If available, it would be quite fun!!! Just a thought.

About Us

No prayer necessary, and booze welcome.
