Where do I buy triple sec or Cointreau

I have looked at Mega, not there. What about Walmart or another source? Thanks. Margaritas need triple sec.

I have bought Cointreau ( Controy in MX ) at both Mega and Walmart in their liquor departments.

COVI at Constituyentes and 307 and/or La EUROPEA on Calle Corazon should have both the triple Sec and Cointreau.

Tried the green bottle Controy, 100 pesos, didn't like it

There was a heel of Controy left in the condo, tried it, did not taste anything like Cointreau or Triple Sec. That is why I wanted the real thing. Maybe what was left has gone bad or it was spiked with something else!

It's what they use here to make margaritas and I bring it home for martinis. Taste the same as cointreau to me and all our guests.

Bought a Controy at Mega, 100 pesos

I bought a new bottle of Controy at Mega, tried it as soon as I got ot back to the condo. It was delicious! The one that had been left here had a somewhat different taste. I now suspect it had been in that cupboard for too long! It went down the drain. I used equal parts of Controy, clear Tequila and fresh lime juice. The consequences are being felt this morning, they were far too good!

I agree, great stuff and it costs about $7us for a liter. I always bring a bottle or 2 home. It is not available in the US. Taste alot like Patrons Orange Liquor (that is made in Mexico) hmmm.
