Moon Palace Pools - Temps now (Feb)

Hi All,

We are heading to the Moon Palace in two days. Not my first choice by any means, but it's a free trip that I won at work and who's to turn down an all expense paid trip to Riv Maya, right?

Can anyone tell me how the pool temps have been? Preferably at the Moon Palace, but any pools int he area will probably be the same. With the shorter days, they are usually cooler this time of year than when we usually head down in May. Can anyone confirm if my teeth will be chattering or if I can lounge in bathwater?

Thanks!

Unless it's/they're heated, it won't be bathwater by any means. Unheated pools are usually pretty chilly this time of year - especially giant pools like the Moon Palace has. But, I personally don't have any idea exactly how chilly.

Thanks Shammy. They do have one heated pool, but it's way on the opposite side of the resort from where we are staying and I hear it's also the "quiet" pool. Oh well, I guess we'll take our floaties and stay up ontop of the water.

They do have the shallow part of the pools that you can put your lounge chair in, seems like it is all of about 12" deep
