Hi there, we stayed there a few years ago. It wasn't bad. There were definately nice places but this one was still nice. One thing though, they have a sister property (I think on Cozumel, but it was a while ago) and they offered us a night there. Something about them not getting enough business and wanting everyone to get to see it. We almost went but they told us we would be put in a new room when we got back to PDC so we didn't do it. We had to request a king size bed and didn't want to get stuck in a room with two doubles.
The italian restaurant was definately great! But you have to book really early that morning to go there at night. They had lots of cute organized events. We went to Xel-Ha and Tulum. Probably paid too much booking through the hotel though. The "field trip" to Senor Frogs (a fun bar on the beach) was cool.
