I do!

Well I will, as soon as I look it up.

But I'm too lazy to do it right now.

I hate high winds too. They always blow from the south east here. There is a HUGE fir tree in my neighbor's yard sitting squarely in the path of the winds that would drop it right down the middle of my house. (The whole house.) I watch that thing lurch in the wind and litter my house and yard with cones and branches. If it ever comes down, things won't be good.

Movie night with my 6 year old granddaughter last night. Corn dogs, popcorn, red vines, and juice slushies. First up in the triple feature: Bambi. Try explaining that one to a 6 year old.

"Papa? Why did those hunters shoot the deer?"
"Papa? Why did they shoot the bird?"
"Papa? Why doesn't Bambi's dad live with Bambi's mommy?"
"Papa? Why did they burn up the forest?

"Well? Because hunters are bad people and Bambi's dad is a deadbeat womanizer that won't pay child support." I didn't say that but I got the overall message of the movie.

This was a cute conversation today between Kathy and I, but it included a mention of a presidential candidate, so I thought it was too political to post here

Seeing-eye Husband dialogue

Went to Lowes for a plumbing repair and came home with a new BBQ. I told Chris it followed me home so we have to keep it. It is a Master Forge brand three burner with a sear burner and a side burner which is handy when there is no power.. Tried it last night on steaks and it is the bomb. Heats up yo 500f and sears the outside just perfect.

You did the right thing. It needed a good home where it could be loved and appreciated. I always wanted a grill with an infrared burner. It should make a good companion for you.

I think that's a husband thing to do. Oh wait, husband comes home with a BBQ; wife comes home with a manicure, pedicure, hair done.

Oh never mind, I'm going to shoot myself in the foot if I keep going.

We are either going trilobite hunting, or trout hunting next weekend (opener).

Naw you're okay. Both are acts of love to impress the other.

"Look honey. I'm so pretty for you."

"ARRR! I make FIRE for you!"

Same thing.
