If every thing works Feb 16 to March 2, 2013. Sure missed going this year. Hopefully the wife and I will see you two then.

When you are using air miles and want to get the direct flight from Vancouver you have to book as soon as the seats are released. I actually wanted 2 weeks earlier but I waited too long. After fees the tickets are about $175.00 each so it makes it worth the long wait.

I hear ya. We went down from Calgary on Aeroplan and had to go through Toronto. So worth getting the direct flight.

OK...let's wrap this up...as always Playa was a blast...great to see old friends and meet many new ones...the weather was awesome...

...two days with clouds / wind / spotty rain but otherwise sunny and hot...the beach is fine and if you are not happy with it wait a day and it will change...

...food was great and beer was cold...if you like pizza this is your town...

...thanks to all for following along and the many kind comments...if you have any questions feel free to ask and here are a few pics that for one reason or another never made it into the day by day report...see ya on the beach...

saw this sign around...this one was at calle 12 and avenida 1...where the clubs are...no one seemed to acknowledge it...not even the Policia...saw many people carrying all along 5th...

Buddie's Diner y Cantina...calle 28 and avenida 5...good value...

a regular at Manne's...

into the deep...

rinsing the sand off the snorkle gear at Akumal...

cruising the Real...

more meat...

and finally late afternoon on the beach...

janied, i would absolutely recommend club yebo... luvved it and glad i took the advice of a good friend (gapechs, michelle).. will return to pdc and to club yebo!!

and dan, when i grow up i want to be canadian so i can take vacations for 2-3 weeks at a clip!!
