Breakfast only

Our family is staying in a condo that is an 8 minute walk to 5th ave and the ferry pier.

Where can we get a good breakfast on the cheap side to get us to a late lunch. Coffee, juice, eggs, pancakes/french toast etc?

Close to pier and not real expensive.

Have narrowed down a few dinner spots - El Fogon, Don Sirloin, and Util Pasta.

Thanks!

Get the menu item described as Yucatecan Eggs

They are huevos motuleņos, delicious and a Yucatan Peninsula original.

If you're closer to the old pier, I would recommend Las Mananitas (sp?)

I love their breakfast. They used to be a sister restaurant to La Vagabunda, but I'm not sure if they're partnered anymore.

El Bistro @ La Tortuga hotel is also very good...and not too far too walk
.....the restuarant in front of Jaguar hotel is also reasonable.......or Alhambra hotel on the beach!

Rick, Vagabunda is not close to the pier nor is it on the "cheap side".

For the OP, there is a McDonald's close by the pier (across from the ADO station). And McDonald's would have coffee, juice, eggs, and maybe pancakes/French toast. Certainly not my first choice but it would meet your requirements.

Vagabunda USED to be relatively cheap. I don't what the heck happened, but I sure was surprised the last time I ate there and saw that crepes with Nutella costs $80.

Is El Bistro cheap? We havent eaten there for 2 years and never breakfast. Dinner was excellent and reasonable, not cheap though....I suppose it depends on your definition of cheap.

No, not cheap, but REAL good. As is 100% Natural on 5th between 12th and 10th...my favorite breakfast place. Great whole grain waffles and pancakes and interesting juice drinks.

But definitely not cheap. Sorry

Oh, any we hardly ever go out to breakfast. The cheap way to do it, in a condo like you have, is to buy your groceries and cook in!! We always make our condo neighbors crazy with the smell of sizzling bacon....
