The new iPad
Apple announces the new iPad at an event in San Francisco, and CNET gets some hands-on time with the third-generation device.

The thing I like the most about the iPads is that Apple is forecast to sell IV 60 million of them this year.
The iPad 2 remains in production with a $399 price. Why buy anything else, becomes the question for many, but not all, consumers |

As does my phone. ![]() And yes I am still VERY happy with my Samsung Galaxy S2....it's great! However- I was talking to the Apple guy at Future Shop where we were browsing iPads and we asked him about buying a Samsung tablet- he said that while the Samsung smartphones are just as good (yes- an APPLE guy said that! ![]() )- the tablets are just not comparable- and his advice was to buy an iPad- which we most likely will be.Quote:
We have a teeny cheap ($150) little netbook and it is a total POS. Just an e-machine.But we just really bought it for Wifi use when travelling. |

Probably a lot nicer than my POS!
Luckily it was cheap. Our laptop died and we are waiting for our income tax refunds to buy an iPad and a new laptop......believe me, it is a major PITA to try to look at house plans on this little thing. |
