Your answer from most people will probably be Luna Blue, I have never stayed there but it's in my favorite area. The North end of town or Little Italy is great.

Stayed at Hotel Cielo and loved it, staff was wonderful, for us location was good....as we used ADO to get around the area. But, as previously stated the bar at Luna Blue is awesome!

Have fun!

I haven’t actually stayed at Luna Blue, but have been to the bar a few times, it is a very nice place and has a beautiful court yard. The bar is extremely fun when they have live music. IE: Mike Grabow

Only one I've stayed at so far is Luna Blue. They now have a pool!

Then I would choose the Playa Maya without any hesitation. Better beach

Agree, that seems odd.

I too find it odd that they are the same price. But if they are, then I would choose Playa Maya because of the beach. Luna Blue is not by the beach. Its a couple of blocks away.

....a bakers couple? Five blocks, the way I count the blocks.

And the Playa Maya is a newer building. I could write a much longer list, but I think this will suffice.

I just took a look at both websites, and Luna Blue is considerably cheaper than Playa Maya, according to their posted prices.
