We were there in December and really liked it. My family owns a timeshare there so we did not do the AI thing. Here's a link to my trip report which will give you a few more details-

 My husband and I along with three friends visited FV May of 02 and it was one of the best vacations we ever took. We are timeshare so we did the AI. You can't beat the price, especially if you enjoy Pina Coladas at the pool, or a cocktail by the ocean at night. Breakfast, and lunch or dinner included. Dining is open-air and the food is grand. More of a modified Euro rather than Mexican. The condo's are all oceanview, and are spacious. You are within walking distance of Playa and the dock to Cozumel. The staff is friendly and helpful. We are coming again this year in May! Any questions feel free to ask.
