All Inclusive/Walking Distance of Playa
Good morning fine peeps! Can anyone recommend a 5-apple or better All Inclusive within walking distance of Playa. Any responses appreciated! Thanks so much! We like all the Iberostars. Wondered if Tucan/Quetzel was close to Playa?

It's sister property is across the street, listed as 4 star. Beach isn't as good there, rocky with sand bags. I have heard great comments about it from people we met on tours. It is a family resort. Best of luck in your hunting

The Royal is great but Apple does not offer those resorts. The Tucan/Quetzel are in Playacar, the large gated community on the south end of Playa, certainly within walking distance. There are several Riu's in that complex that are rated as highly. |

...if you like the iberostars, you may also like the riu's...we've stayed at both...the riu palace riviera maya is closest to playa...the riu palace mexico a bit farther down the beach...both are lovely resorts...and staying at one of them affords you access to the other non-palace riu's there as well (riu yucatan, riu playacar, riu tequila and riu lupita)...the riu palace mexico is slated to be closed for major renovations from late august to early december this year...
