May will be VERY busy so it might be just daydreaming from my side. But I have been stuck in work so deep lately that I am just itching to go somewhere else... If I am not going I am interested in your trip too. Chicago has been on my list for a long time as well so I hope that you will write a trip report.
How about Las Vegas?

Just for a weekend it is too far away... I would have to fly over on thu and leave on sunday. Prizewise I can see something OK but 12 hours flight is too long. I know I am crazy but even I have limits...

So what did we do at Umbrella Day? Bocce.

Hell I don't know. Missed all but one day of work last week. Pretty much can't use my right arm at all above the elbow. Basically just can't move the right shoulder. It's like I have a little T-Rex arm sticking out of my ribs. The chiropractor and massage helped for a day then right back to pain. Been eating vicadin like skittles today and, nuthin'. I may have to withdraw from the stripper pole contest if this keeps up.

Damn!

I sure hope you and MikeW feel better soon.

If it makes you feel any better, you salmon silverware has become the favorite utensils of Jeff and Julie's grand daughter.

Makes me worry when young guys feel worse than this old man.

Wink

On my 21st birthday, myself and some friends were climbing down a sandstone cliff with a cooler of beer trying to reach a sandy beach at the bottom. About 10' feet from the sand we lost our footing and went tumbling straight down into the sand and landed in a heap. Bottles of beer scattered about.

We laughed and laughed. I said "Some day I'm going to pay for this kind of sh*t. I turn 50 next week... I believe PAYMENT IS DUE!

Thats my concern. I was hoping to get another 10 years before the wheels started falling off. Ive got a ton of worn out parts but I think this one is going to be a problem for awhile. Not able to sit at a computer and use a mouse. Thats a problem for my job. Worse yet, fishing season is a week away. Cant cast a line. Thats a disaster. Im sure it too will pass but Im kind of in a funk about it right now. I dont sit around very well.

There are rumors of a last minute mini peep meet wine tasting tomorrow in Los Olivos.
