Yea, that is what we got. We ordered salad, it came and then the steaks like 60 seconds later. They were pre cooked for sure, as I could see the grill and they never put anything on and there was no smoke. Overly tenderized, weird. We are done, never again, too bad cause they were good back in the day.

Hi all.

Longtime no post.

I did a quick search and really did not find much on my querie and i was unable to put a thread up so I am asking here.

I am driving through to Mahahual fairly late and would like to stop on the 307 or just off for Taco's ( not shrimp or fish ) or hurache's, panucho's etc, mexican fare anyway. I am just not a seafood fan.

I did see the notations on the best shrimp tacos along the 307, but not Chicken, Turkey, Chorizo etc.

I have to agree, other than at a nice restaurant out side of Hacienda Chitchen Lo Ha has the best I have tasted.

There are some absolutely wonderful and incredibly cheap places in the pueblo of Puerto Aventuras with panuchos, salbutes, huaraches, sopes, etc. A little bit off the highway, but not more than 5 minutes. The distance to Majahual is pretty great ... where are you thinking of stopping?

I am thinking the quickest possible option. I just want a traditional quick in and out mexi place. I am a fan of the ladies at the centro pemex in Phillipe Carillo Puerto, but it is so far I will be famished by then. So Puerto Adv or Akumal or Tulum would all fit the bill.

So anything with nice flavour withneasy access and quickness. LOL

There is a Tamale place somewhere close to Chedrauli, but I am not sure if it's yummy or open....I found it while searching around today.

Was just getting ready to ask where we could find salbutes. So glad to find this thread. These were one of my favorite things about Belize this summer.
