We were in one of the deluxe studios for 2 weeks and I actually couldn't remember whether the bed was a double or queen! (Says something about my powers of observation ). Here's a pic. It doesn't do the room justice but does show the bed.

Also booked a trip to Cancun at an All-Inclusive with a whole group of friends. They want AI and we got a pretty good deal at the Fiesta Americana Condesa for the second week in January.

Add in a trip to the Tip of Texas in early March to visit some snowbird friends and we have our winter trips pretty well planned. Have to work some time.

We will be down May 4-13. Airfare is currently at $606 for nonstop and $554 for one stop.

This year was $490 for nonstop and that was the highest we had paid.

We are definitely not finding those great fares from Vancouver yet...just an added note that the weather has been crap out here also...rain, rain and more rain...and oh yes not very warm either ....my return to Mexico in February is what's keeping my spirits up...3 weeks this year...can't wait...ay ay ay ya ya

1:49 for us . The timing works great. We leave Halifax at 10:05 so no early rise and if it snows over night the roads should be clear by then. Something I look forward to is the feeling that strikes me as we leave the bus station and start down 5th.

Best news ever!!!!!!!!! Dan won two round trip air tickets yesterday at a West Jet golf tournament so our trip to Playa this year is FREE…how freaken cool is that!!! Dan was just given’er on the golf course in Calgary yesterday ….ay ay ay ya ya ya!!!!!

We booked two of the three weeks at Club Yebo but not quite sure what to do with the last week there…Puerto Morelos is really nice; however the town might be a bit too quiet for us in the evening as I hear everything shuts down pretty early.
