I am looking for an English speaking doctor in Playa specifically a Podiatrist. Can anyone help me out with a recommendation?

I have personally never heard of a Podiatrist in Playa. You could see Dr. Bernardo Diaz and he could possibily recommend the proper doctor for your needs. He is located on calle 20 between AV. 1 & 5 and speaks perfect English.

If this is an injury and/or diabetes related, I would go directly to Doctora Renata Lopez at the Playa International Clinic, 10th Avenue between 26 and 28. Doctor Diaz referred me to her (without charge). Good English

She's great! If I had any serious concerns, she would be the first doctor I'd go to.

There's a podiatrist's office on the NW corner of Calle 18 and Avenida 35. Nice little office. She's got a diploma on the wall from the "Mexican School of Podiatry".

From Mahahual, Merida would be an option and it is a major medical center.

Have you checked Chetumal?

Thanks so much to everyone for all the referals and contact info.

There are a couple of podatrists in Chetumal; however none of them speak any English. Merida is another option but it is a shorter trip to Playa for me. Here is the information that I have on foot care and podatrists in Merida for anyone needing it.

There is a Care Center for feet problems and they have a few podiatrists, with three 3 locations:
