Letterman Gets Trampled By Turtles!!!

Tonight, the band on Letterman is from Duluth, Minnesota. Woo-hoo!!!
They are named Trampled By Turtles (which always reminds me of Akumal). The bassist is from right here in Grand Rapids, MN. My son-in-law was in a band with him during high school. I'm thrilled that Tim and the rest of the band have this opportunity. My 91 year old muscian dad just called me, and asked me to call him at 11:25 to remind him to watch

I saw them! They started with a *YAWN* but once the song picked up they were fantastic! If I am watching Jay, I usually switch to Dave at the end because he has better musical guests. Your Turtles were no exception!

I figured that they might do "Alone", but it's not my favorite tune by them. I really like them and might go with a freind to see them at "Rock the Garden"

It was declared Trampled By Turtles Day here in Mpls and Duluth a couple weeks ago.

Rock the Garden has quite the lineup this year. They sold out tickets in less than an hour

I might be bias, but once they got going, I thought they were great! The more I hear Alone, the more I like it.

Tim is the guy on the far right of the screen, so we got lots of great shots of him.

It was a fun, but late, night for us!
