The original CH Supercarnes - Day closed?

I know they close early ... like 7 pm. But do any of you locals know if they're open on Sundays?

Ooops! Sorry!

I've been told that this location is open every day.

Was good to hear that. We prefer this location (the original HC Monterrey or whatever....). It doesn't have the "glitz" of the El Fogon, etc. over on Constituentes, but we like that about it. It's visited more by locals than tourists, and the people who work there are very nice.

And the food??? Oh my....... Awwwwwesome!!

We absolutely agree with you! And we tend to dine early (and are up and out at the crack of dawn), so the early closing hour is not a problem for us.

Back in 2010 we showed up there at 6:40 and learned that they close at 7. We started to leave and they insisted we stay and not feel rushed. We did stay and had a marvelous meal (as usual) . Its not the type of place you linger over dessert and coffee so it worked out fine. (Though we probably did eat a little quicker then we normally would!) It was that day that we promised ourselves to remember that they close early! I just love the staff there and always make a point of blowing kisses to the guys working that hot grill to let them know how muy delicioso (sp?) the meal was.
