Fideicomiso advice

Hi all,

My husband and I have recently bought a house in PDC and we have handed in all the paperwork and paid the fee and now we are just waiting. And waiting and waiting.

Does anyone have experiences with the fedeicomiso? How long does it normally take? What bank did you do it through? Has anyone done it through Robert Webb at Bancomer?

Any advice or info would be appreciated

Hi, it took me about 6 months and we went through Scotia Bank. The yearly fees are approximately 600 dollars a year. I'm not sure I got a good deal I hired a lawyer and a notario separately, the total fees for me was approx. 3500 dollars. The yearly fees come automatically out of my checking account.

it is the notarios who mess things up and cause delays

it took 3 months to complete the purchase on our condo in playacar. be patient!

Oh! I really wasn't expecting it to take so long! That changes a few plans.....

Is that how long it took just to receive the fideicomiso? Or the whole 'buying the house process' too?

the whole process took from nov.27 untill feb 6th.
aquiring the fedicomiseo took from dec 23 untill feb 6th.
about 6 weeks.

Consider yourself lucky if you get it done in that length of time....ours took about 18 months!!
