Coulple looking 4 friends!!

Hey there!! We move here last march for long-term, but what's missing is a social life. We'd love to make new friends here who we can go for dinner/drinks, have lazy days at the beach, do day trips, dance, snorkeling, cinema & get togethers at our homes. We enjoy the gym, long walks at the beach, sushi... I speak spanghils ;-) We are a fun couple without any kids yet and really want to make the most of this new adventure. If you'd like to hang out please contact me and we can organize a meetup.

I just read your post, my husband and I have just moved to playa too! My husband is Mexican and I am European, where are you guys from?

Maybe you and I could meet up for a coffee some day? Right now we are waiting for the fideicomiso to come through, which should be Friday so hopefully be settled in a free some time next week.

I'll be in town the 23rd with 4 ladies. I have friends that live in town and perhaps you could join us on one of our nights out and meet a few fun folks... Will keep my eye on this post...

Well girls, I have to tell you both that I got married April the 13 and all my friends are in Argentina so I didnt have a "Bachelorette party" so we can have a fun, wild lady's night maybe the 24 or 25...keep in touch!

Hi all:
Just read the thread and want to chime in.
My wife and I have been living here only a short time too. We have found that it is challenging to keep an active social life as well. Especially now after most of the people we have met have gone back to their other homes over the summer months.
It would be great to meet a few people that live here over the summer to hang out with. We like to do alot of different things around Playa, but find it equally fun and relaxing to get out of town and explore.

Oh my! It's not challenging at all, if you don't mind becoming a bar fly

Bad Boys, Wah Wah, Luna Blue, Beer Bucket, La Rana, Club De La Cerveza....all places frequented by expats. You don't have to drink, but it helps.

Come to Wah Wah tonight from 6 to 10 and hear a great band. On the beach between the pier and Calle 2

We moved here from the U.S. (Colorado) a little over a year ago, so we still consider ourselves 'newbies' =P
A barbecue or a meetup somewhere for everyone sounds like a great idea to us.
